Corrupted Hound
Corrupted Hound: Twisted by unnatural forces, these once-natural creatures now bear the marks of ruin. Their fur is matted with black ichor, their eyes glow with a sickly green or pale violet, and bones pierce through flesh in unnatural angles. Some have fungal growths, others show signs of necrotic decay: open wounds that never bleed, yet never heal. Their movements are jerky, as if puppeted by something beneath the skin.
Nectrotic Absorption. Whenever the Corrupted Hound is subjected to Necrotic damage, it takes no damage and instead regains a number of Hit Points equal to the Necrotic damage dealt.
Corrupted Hide. The skin and fur is leathery, bristling with spikes or dripping with slippery ichor. The Corrupted Hound’s Armor Class had increased by 2.
Not in the Herd. The Corrupted Hound automatically becomes hostile toward any creature except for the Beastmaster or other Corrupted Beasts.
Keen Smell. The Corrupted Hound has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell
Watchdog. The Corrupted Hound is aware of its surroundings even while it is asleep.
Locate. The hound chooses of a specific object, a material, a specific creature, or a type of creature that it has smelled before. The hound focuses on this target's scent until it takes this action again. If the target is within 30 ft of the hound, the hound pinpoints its location. If the target passed within 30 ft of the hound in the last day the hound discovers its trail and can begin to follow it. The hound can't locate a target or follow a trail that it cannot smell (e.g. a trail through running water).
Actions
Bite. Melee Attack: +2, reach 5 ft. Hit: 1d4 piercing damage and the target is grappled (DC 10).
