Gup
This large, gelatinous, single-celled organism originally appeared near the northern coast of Ovra, at the swamp in the region. Adventurers noted smelling strawberries and other fruits when approaching. Although the smell is sweet, the taste of this organism is quite bitter. Known to perform mitosis when threatened, this creature uses its mass to cause harm more than its ooze-like body.
Magic Resistance. The Gup has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Adhesive Body. The Gup can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing an ability check.
Unusual Nature. The Gup doesn't require sleep, air, or food.
Fluorescent Essence. The Gup can cause itself to emit Dim Light in a 40-foot radius. It can either begin or end this effect as a Bonus Action.
Actions
Pseudopod. Melee Weapon Attack: +X to hit where X is equal to the Gup's player companion’s spell attack roll modifier, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: 2d8+ the Gup's Strength modifier plus its companion’s proficiency bonus piercing damage.
