Noctis Drow Legionnaires
The Noctis Drow Legionnaire is the standard professional infantryman of the Noctis Dominion. Unlike ordinary Drow raiders, Legionnaires are trained to fight in disciplined formations, holding shields together and advancing under command.
Sunlight Sensitivity. While in direct sunlight, the legionnaire has disadvantage on attack rolls and on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.
Noctis Discipline. The legionnaire has advantage on saving throws against being frightened while within 10 feet of at least one allied Noctis soldier.
Shield Wall. While the legionnaire is within 5 feet of at least one allied Noctis Legionnaire wielding a shield, it gains +1 AC.
Coordinated Advance. The legionnaire can move through the space of another allied Noctis soldier, provided that soldier isn't incapacitated. Noctis Legionnaires can therefore move in tightly packed formations without impeding one another.
Actions
Multiattack. The legionnaire makes two attacks, one with its Noctis glaive and one with its short sword, or two glaive attacks.
Noctis Glaive. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d10 + 3) slashing damage.
Short Sword. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage.
Hand Crossbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage, plus 3 (1d6) poison damage. The target must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the end of its next turn.
Reactions
Formation Step. The legionnaire moves up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks, provided it ends this movement within 5 feet of another Noctis soldier. This represents the Legionnaires shifting their formation rather than fighting as individuals.
