Golden Chain Beast Master
Beast Hunters are experienced operatives tasked with fighting dangerous quarry. Unlike poachers, they understand the anatomy and habits of unusual creatures and prepare specifically for each hunt.
Beast Handler. The beastmaster has advantage on Wisdom (Animal Handling) checks made to control or calm beasts it has trained.
Coordinated Hunt. Once per turn, the beastmaster deals an extra 3 (1d6) damage when it hits a creature with a weapon attack if the target is within 5 feet of the beastmaster's trained companion and that companion isn't incapacitated.
Trained Companion. The beastmaster travels with a trained wolf that acts on its own initiative. The wolf obeys the beastmaster's commands and is friendly to the beastmaster and its allies. If the beastmaster is incapacitated, the wolf can act independently.
Actions
Multiattack. The beastmaster makes two attacks with its hunting axe or hand crossbow, in any combination.
Hunting Axe. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d8 + 1) slashing damage.
Hand Crossbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage.
Commanding Whistle (Recharge 5–6). The beastmaster signals its companion. The wolf can use its reaction to move up to half its speed and make one Bite attack.
